Most of the good teams are out of the competition already. You have Brasil and France left, and of course Belgium... (but then Belgium = 33, and are probably soccer's answer or mirror to Cleveland and Atlanta: they foster some great teams every now and then but hardly win anything at all...)

ReplyDeleteMy Brazil connection to Saturn being on the WC logo was wrong. The Mascot of the WC is obviously Russia's (WOLF). He wears the Russia colors (France with the same color scheme). The Mascot's shirt says "RUSSIA 2018", it equals 29 like FRANCE. Pele won the WC in his first appearance and was 17. Mbappe is 19 and is getting compared to Pele.

This is posted somewhere in this blog. anyway, I also was looking into the year of the dog and realized that every year of the dog has a different element (Earth, Fire, Wood, Water, Metal). This year of the dog is the "Earth Dog". each Element has different connections to nature such as Earth's celestial body being Saturn (this explains Saturn being on the WC Logo). DeleteGreat call in a major final again Tomas, and I have to thank you for this one (at least I got my bet on this match correct, was not sure earlier today, but I ended up just following your advice in the end...)
Personally for me this World Cup was kind of average, and hope to do better when the NFL starts. I did 6 futures before the tournament started and only 1 came through in the end. Luckily for me, this one paid 17 times the stake: Harry Edward Kane, top scorer.
One last observation:
after checking various accumulated total stats for France, Croatia and New England Patriots, I will now upgrade the chances for Patriots to win the upcoming super bowl to 93.8% Ladies and Gentlemen, do not take my word for it, check the numbers yourselves...
