The Patriots in 08 went 11-5, but never made the playoffs. The Patriots in 2012 lost the AFC Championship to the Ravens. Also the Steelers, the year prior to SB 43, lost to the Jaguars twice and the Patriots, but beat them in the 08 season. Championship and could have been in SB, but both lost to SF and Denver. California v Ohio...Bengals v Niners in 2 super bowls...Dodgers and Reds and Oakland A's were all very good in the 1970s

DeleteI do believe these numbers means, that the fate of France in this World Cup and Belichick in previous Super Bowl is more than just the "Croatian" losses. The numbers are teasing more to come, and the France win could send New England Patriots directly to the upcoming Super Bowl no 49.
