Tomas, I have to admit that when it comes to baseball I am probably nothing but a fool. The only reason that I watch and try to decode/bet MLB now is that it is holiday season, and it is a couple of weeks to the start of Premier League soccer and even more weeks to the NFL starts...

I could not help myself seeing that the Brewers is leading in Washington, with the possibillity to win their 55th for the season. Now the Brewers also stands at 48 losses, corresponding to SB48 in the NFL.
Also Washington Redskins plays Eagles in the NFL season opener, and Eagles stands at 555 wins.
No offense, but I tried a small live bet on Milwaukee... Let's see what happens ;-)

First the whole 555 idea came from the Philadelphia Phillies match vs Houston Astros. This was my planned back-up in case the San Fransisco Giants pick did not go through..
IF Phillies win, 35 for the season (555)
now after double-checking possibillities for:
Toronto 55th loss
Detroit 55th loss/KC 53rd win
Cubs 53rd win
Brewers 55th win
My personal conclusion: MLB is better suited for the hard-core fans or bettors. It's just too much going on every day and night, so even if we got a good decode it's difficult to pin it to the correct team(s)
