I also have been looking at the World Cup and Somethings up with Mexico's numbers. I still don't think they'll break their curse and get past the round of 16. I have read some comments about re-living the 1986 sports world, well the World Cup that year was hosted by Mexico and ironically enough they got past the round of 16 and USA did not qualify that year. Unless Mexico gets a Draw vs Germany and wins their other 2 games and hope to have a higher Goal Differential they will play Brazil in the round of 16. But you also cannot look past Sweeden.
My prediction: It will depend on Neymar's injury, I have read that he will be ready and that its uncertain, he has been in a walking boot since February. He might not be "100%" (remember its scripted). If he plays, I say the final will be Brazil vs Belguim, If he doesn't It will be France vs Belgium. Also, I can see Uruguay, and Portugal(again) choke in the group stage. In 2014 there were several disappointments like Italy, Spain, England, Portugal.
