DeleteLooking at the NHL and doing the baseball comparison schedule like by the NBA it Looks like it could be Capitals and Jets or Sharks and Lightning. I think June 1st the Nationals play ATL. Jets used to be Atlanta and A’s play Rays. So San Jose v Lightning. I thought Boston or Pens would play Jets. Something to keep an eye on. If Capitals and Jets I suspect Jets win.

ReplyDeleteAsif, that’s based on the schedules lining up. I think it could be any combo of those 4 Phi, GS, Hou, and I think Toronto has a better chance than Boston for the reason you stated and they have the worst Offense of any East team left, while Tor and Phi have a top 5 D like Boston does; their Offenses are much better. Cleveland shouldn’t even be alive and won’t get by Toronto unless their players start dropping like flies. To me it seems destined to be GS v Philly.
DeleteShmacks I agree with you in toronto gettin passed Cavs this year as long as stay “healthy”. Only thing holding me on GSW v Philly is seeding that would be 2 v 3 and we know this season and a lot has been made of number 13 and Rockets being 1 seed and Philly being 3 is why I like it slightly more than other scenarios. Cavs could go to being 4 as 41 is 13th prime but as you know their D is dead last in nba or 29th out of 30 and no team has gone to finals with that historically bad defense let alone win it.
DeleteI agree it’s definetly HOU or GS. I am hoping the guys that do more of the number decodes line that up Tomas and Kris are great at that aspect. I like finding these kind of clues. I just have a hard time seeing anyone but Philly from the east. And that bad D that the Cavs have Kobe didn’t even have a winning record. You can’t tell me scripted that Lebron is that much better than Kobe. Bron has also gone to 7 straight finals and everyone on Zach’s board and other places say streaks end at 7. No upsets in the East and 2 in the West.

ReplyDeleteThe only reason I think they do is to shift money, but Celtics are too short handed to compete and all things being equal stat wise 6ers have as good of D as the Celtics and their offense is better and 6ers arent depleted. Only excuse would be inexperience. I think 6ers win but not confident enough to put money on it. I could see a sweep.
