Pick: Los Angeles Chargers

My first thought was a Bears win & I have the Chargers winning for more reasons than just the weekly codes.
I am curious what you guys get for these two games before making my bets finalized. That is what I made this blog for. Not just to show how many games I can get right because everyone gets games wrong unless your Sonny. Us all working together is our best key to getting these games right. All codes fail at times, unless you got Sonnys codes.
So please share what you got and lets start collabing to get these games correct at a more consistent level. The week 15 discussion thread will be out soon.

Comments

  1. Agree with Detroit: Fox's 46th game with the Bears, Stafford's 46th win vs NFC teams in his 46th game vs NFC North teams, in Detroit's 46th head to head home victory.

Detroit also remains on 269 losses vs NFC North teams all time in Fox's 269th all time game.

The KC/LAC game is a bit tougher, but I like KC:

It would be KC's 181st regular season win vs AFC West teams in Reid's 181st regular season win.

KC gets their 35th head to head home victory on the 350th day of the year.

Date numerology of 45 (12+16-17 = 45). KC gets regular season win 455 while handing LAC all time loss 455 in LAC's 455th all time road game. It would be KC's 197th (45th prime) all time home win vs AFC opponents.

The last head to head game in KC was a 33-27 score, for a total of 60. KC gets their 60th head to head victory.

77 is double coded all over the place, and both teams can drop to 7-7. The same goes for 43/34, but I think 34 supersedes 43 because the last head to head game totaled 34 points. LAC can fall to 3-4 on the road. It could be KC's 343rd win vs AFC teams (also 340th L, so there's your double code).

My clinchers for this one (numbers that aren't double coded). Rivers can drop to 12-12 in starts vs KC (24th game, Smith can get his 89th win, the 24th prime). It's Reid's 78th regular season game with KC, the 12th triangular. It's Rivers 12th game at KC, and he can drop to 5-7 in KC's 269th all time home win (57th prime). KC can get its 107th all time home win vs AFC West teams while handing LAC their 107th all time road loss to AFC West teams.

    1. Also with the 46 on this game. Rivers 199th start (46th prime). He stays stuck on 46 road wins while KC gets all time win 464.

If you get time I am looking at two big upsets.
      Browns and Bengals both winning.
If you get time and can let me know who you come up with on the week 15 discussion thread I'd appreciate it.

    4. Good looking.
I am looking at a little more of the stats you look at but hard to find the records for the teams vs AFC/NFC and divisions.
I have been trying so many different ways to decode and nothing is 100% but the more we find on one team for that week seems to be the best bet.
Just keep grinding and hope it pays off in the future.
      Appreciate all you do though.

    5. Go here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/head-to-head.htm.

Just above the table, hover over "Share and More." Click the top choice "Modify and Share Table." Click the "X" next to every NFC team. Copy and paste the table into an Excel spreadsheet and sum the columns, and you have their AFC record.

Then you can do the same thing, and hit the "X" by every team that isn't in the AFC North, leaving just PIT, CIN and CLE. Copy and paste into Excel, sum the columns, and there you have it.

What about former AFC/NFC team that switched conferences
Or when the divisons switched from 3 to 4
How do you factor that in?
      Or do you?

      Delete
    10. I haven't broken things down that far. I am starting to look into overall team records for when they joined specific divisions and conferences. But it's time consuming, whereas what I'm doing now isn't.

  2. Here are some more numbers I got on L.A.
    Chargers can go to 8-6
    Chiefs go to 6-8 (68/86)
    Keeping Smith at 86 wins
Smith on all time start 156 (56)
All time game 907 for the Chiefs
    907 is the 155th prime
    (1+55=[56]
    L.A. gets series win [56]
Smith with a loss will have an all time record with the Chiefs (49-29)
    With a loss he will be (49-30) [493] {493/463}
K.C. remains at (463) franchise wins
    463 is the (90)th prime
Rivers remains at (90) all time losses.
Chargers are favorites in Kansas City
    With a L.A. win Rivers home record (45-50) [455]
Chargers next all time franchise loss, playoffs included is [455]

    1. Both teams are 7-6, so one will go to 8-6, the other to 7-7. This makes 77 coded each way. LAC's coach is 7-6 with the Chargers, 7-7 overall. This is why 78 is important, and it only favors KC. He can fall to 7-7 as Chargers coach and 7-8 overall. Smith's 77th home start, 78th home game played. Reid's 78th game as KC's coach. 78 = 12th triangular. Rivers gets his 12th loss vs KC to make him 12-12 in starts vs KC.

Also, I have this as KC's 908th all time game.

    2. And Smith gets win 87 (78/87)

    4. Sport Titan you do some great work.
I got money on L.A. so I think I am putting that ahead of the weekly codes along with codes I got for L.A. making the playoffs like I mentioned above.
      Great work though.

    5. Thanks guys. I haven't started a blog yet, but I might sometime in the next few months. I just don't know how much time I have to keep it updated.

I have my money on KC, but good luck. It's the toughest call for sure within the Thursday/Saturday games.

    6. Hey titan, you're making me re think my decision of starting Philip rivers over Stafford in my fantasy championship. Your work is great. Any feedback is appreciated.

      Delete
    7. Unknown, I would prob still go with Rivers, they have been hot lately and KC bad on Defense. Remember, winning/losing the game doesn't always translate to good/bad fantasy output. Maybe Stafford gets banged up even more, but they still win on a Prater FG or with run game.. and if KC is winning that game, Rivers is probably gonna be throwing it.. I'm just saying, not telling you what to do...

      Delete
    8. I think Rivers still has a huge day. That looks to be a high scoring game.

      Delete
    9. I see I see. I agree with you both, a few things I found on Stafford....

      His date of birth 2/7/1988
2+7+1+9+8+8 = 35. 350th day of the year on GameDay.

Also, it's the 16th day of the month (1+6=7) like his date of birth, the 7th.

Obviously this doesn't automatically correlate to a day with big numbers but it's interesting. Just some more stuff to add to a Lions victory.

      Delete
    10. *GameDay is the 16th day of the month.

      Delete
    11. @ Unknown: Caldwell can get his 35th win as Detroit's coach on the 350th DOY. Detroit definitely looking like a lock.

      Delete
    12. Fox on start (46) for Chicago
Lions get win (46) in the series at home

      Delete
    13. Also Sports Titan 350th day of the year would match series win 35 for K.C. at home

      Delete
  3. kc can win and still not make playoffs.. I mean Chargers can lose vs kc and still make it. They just made denver look good with that QB and they are at home vs kc last game of season

  4. 15th series game in Ford field
    15th prime (47) [47/74]
    Lions get series win (74)

    Lions on game 1231
    1231 is the 202nd prime (22) doubles
Since the NFC North was created the Lions trail the Bears (15-16)
    Lions win its (16-16) doubles
Lions get conference win (33) double
Bears get Conference loss (55) doubles

  9. I am rolling with the Chargers.
LeBron got his 59th triple double
K.C. remains at 59 series wins with a loss
Chargers get series win 56 (56/59)
In Kansas City Chargers get win (24)
    (24) big number on TNF
Plus the Chargers are favorites in K.C.
I have to stay with L.A.
    Rivers (199) starts
    Record (109-90) [199]
    After win
Also Rivers regular season win (105) [15]
    Smith start (150) [15]
    15th prime (47)
    Rivers home win (47)

    1. It looks pretty split on K.C./L.A. as most people are taking Detroit
If they want to pop parleys the easy move is to have the Bears win.
Even though I got Chargers & Lions I am more worried about the Lions game.
Most the codes say Lions but we seen that fail before and remember it is Saturday football

      Delete
  11. Chargers try to snap a (7) game losing streak
    [Seven]
In that span Rivers has (10) Ints & (5) TDs [105]
Rivers goes for all time win [105]

Chargers look more and more like a win today the deeper I look.

  12. I think that if the Vikings lose to the bengals this Sunday, I think there’s a good chance they collapse completely, especially since Mike Zimmer keeps bringing up Teddy. The Vikings finish 10-6 and the Lions defeat the Packers week 17 to also go 10-6 and win the division. At the beginning of the season a lot of numbers lined up for the Lions to win the division. Or at least more so than the Vikings. Lions=24, 24 years since the Lions won the division. 26 is a big number and the Lions haven’t won a playoff game in 26 years. Anyway even if the Vikings don’t collapse I think the Lions get the 6 seed and eventually are the team to eliminate the Vikings from the Playoffs. Keep in mind they are in there 88th season with their QB who was born in ‘88. We’ll see tho. The media is talking about the Packers and Cowboys to make a run but watch the Lions get in and catch everyone by surprise.

  13. @Tomas...winner represent Afc? What numbers or what points at that?
I'm not gonna go on that side of the fence yet

  14. 313 halftime score in the 313 area code!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Chargers are a better team right now theoretically and the nfl has a lot invested in that franchise right so they should win, but really tough game to call. I think the only bet would be the over.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I agree with Chargers based on Numbers presented by Tomas and others tonight to win! Chargers represent afc west in playoffs not sold in a SB run for them tho

    ReplyDelete
  17. how stupid did that play look with ekeler? he could have clearly dropped the ball before touching the endzone. rigged
