I really wanted to make this a premium play but it'll be a free play, but Cleveland comes in having failed to cover 9 straight and are just 1-14 ATS in their last 15 games. I just think this is the ideal spot for the Cavs to get this thing turned around. They have had plenty of time to sort things out, as this will be just their second game in the last 6 days. I like Lue's decision here to go bigger and move Thompson into the starting lineup. Not having to play Love at the 5 should really help them defensively. I also think they come out inspired here against a Pacers team they have some serious revenge against, as they have dropped all 3 meetings against this season.
Let's also not forget this Cavs team is 16-6 at home this season and the Pacers come in with a losing road record. The other thing here is Indiana has to be fatigued right now. They got to play just one home game after a 5-game west coast trip before going back on the road to face Cleveland. More than anything, I trust LeBron here and expect him to do whatever it takes tonight to get a win. Give me the Cavs -5.5!
Only thing that makes me back track from the cavs lock is that pacers are 3-0 against this season. This is the last time they face them this year so a pacers win would resemble the sweep that the cavs laid on them last year. Might go 50% bankroll on cavs instead of all in.
