ReplyDeleteFPI: Pats hold major edge in SB rematch
ESPN's FPI likes the Patriots' chances of prevailing at home Sunday night, giving them better than a 3-1 advantage over the Falcons. New England was slightly favored (56-44 percent) on a neutral field in Super Bowl XLI.

Absence of Stephon Gilmore, Eric Rowe could put Patriots' D in tough spot
With two of their top three cornerbacks missing practice for the second straight day, New England could need to use Plan B against Atlanta....2-3-2, spelled out in the phrase

Love the way KC calls a time out everytime Oakland needs time to come up with another play. They almost lost control in this one. Dude was not supposed to drop the first TD going for the win that was called for holding.

or was he....? Ive watched enought the last two years to see them milk it this bad on purpose.. but yeah..these are "plays" ..those time outs are exactly to make sure everyone plays their part as they should..but tonight and still no one will think its fishy
Pats should absolutely win this game. With a pats win it helps "solidify" the narrative of the falcons 2nd half meltdown being in fact just that and not part of any foul play.
ReplyDeleteyeah, because thats how logic works for sports fans...sarcasm :)

To back up your very good analysis and a Patriots win, here are the running totals before week 7 (i will only repeat the
Deletenumbers, you have already explained what the numbers mean for the Patriots-Falcons match):
16 and 206:
Because Bucs at Dolphins where postponed due to weather warfare, the week 7 opener yesterday in Oakland were #92 for the
season. Bucs vs Dolphins is postponed to 11.19.
404/440
Total points after 91 matches was 4044. 4*4*4=46. After Oakland won yesterday, the home/away wins for the season is in
perfect harmony: 46-46
88
8*8=64. Home teams 2088 points at conclusion of week 6, 91 matches. Now 2119 points. 61 points yesterday.
156/295
Away teams 1956 points after match #91. Falcons scored 17 points (now week 7) in the loss to Dolphins. These points made the
running total points for home teams 1915.
268/242/276
1986 points for away teams after Chiefs scored 30. Chiefs = 672. Match #84, Patriots scored 24 at Jets, total 41 points for
the match (242). Running total 1791 (76) away teams season and 164 points away teams week 6 (46/444/34).
1485/5/481
The span from 9/29/13 to SNF is 1485 days but the delta is 1484. This one I like a lot from the running totals:
Match #72 (Belichick 7 finals 2 losses for the patriots, Pats 5-4), Cardinals 7 Eagles 34 (444/43 Falcons, week 7). Eagles for prophecy. 1484 points for the away teams! 5-4 away-home week 5! 176 points away teams! 179 points home teams!
I will add one more:
DeleteFalcons to stay at 353 franchise wins. Ref. Match#72 above: running totals week 5, match #9 = 355 points (176+179)
...and running totals week 6 after #7 Pats at Jets = 353 (4-3 away/home wins)
DeleteKraft 416th game
ReplyDeleteBelichick bday is 4/16
No need for my breakdown we all got the same thing, lol
Lol from a sports forum, this......Adam the Bull

You called last week, super bowl week because of 2/4 stuff.
ReplyDeleteThis week a few/ a lot of teams could go 5-2 or 2-5 , like SB 52....but you are picking against that mostly. Is it a silly question by me?
