  2. There are two games I am having problems picking a winner for...

    1.) Falcon @ Bears

If anyone wants to take a stab at a Breakdown on that game that be great
I am leaning on the Bears right now.

    2. Haven't broke it all the way down, big baseball day, on 9/2 Chicago Cubs beat the Braves 14-12....the series is Bears 14, Falcons 12....next game Atlanta won by 4 (5-1)...

    3. I honestly didn't see much on this matchup

  3. a lot of the franchise numbers seems to line up for a Green Bay Packers win also. These 2 games starts at the same time.

    1. Packers won 7 str8 in G.B.
To be honest I do not think the Packers win week one.
Plus the Lions will win the division this year alot lines up for Detroit to win the NFC North

    2. About the Lions
I say that to say this the Packers have to stay under Detroit by years end and a 0-1 start fits best verse Wilson who has not won in Wisconsin yet
Wilson "a whole pack of Badgers"

    3. If we are going to bet Seattle we are also going against the following pattern H-2-H Packers-Seahawks (W)in (L)oss:

      2W-3L-3W-1L-3W-1L-1W-3L-3W

If Seattle wins it will break the 3-1 rythm that has always been in this matchup. I dare not pick Seattle, so it's either Packers or a no-bet for me... (or maybe Seattle +3 points, worst case)

Packers 13 championships, coach Carrol born on a 31 day, coach McCarthy born on a 103 day, QB Wilson birtday 11 weeks and 3 days after this match.. hmmm..

    4. Regarding the streaks that ends at 7:

I would not trust this in the 98th season of NFL, because straight in the numerical heart of this season we find:

      98 + 89 = 187

      Isn't the 1-87 a confirmation of something that extends from 7 to 8 ?

Especially if the 2 is involved:

      98 * 89 = 8722

    5. There are some "headache codes" in this match-up, or double coding you might call them. We could discuss the packers-seahawks more later in the week, but I have a couple of examples on franchise level that favours Green Bay heavily:

Seahawks comes in with 675 franchise matches, this is #676. Packers will get franchise win #765 to match this, especially coming in with 1376 franchise matches chasing the 3rd victory in a row vs seahawks.

Packers will get regular season win 731 in their 1377th match. (please check my comments on the Pats Rats vs Chiefs Thieves post regarding 73...)

    6. Streaks end at 7 his a history thing....Matthew Stafford will win MVP this year....GB loses week 1, further more I'm locking in my prediction of Seattle/Pittsburgh for the Super Bowl...

That Bill Cowher commercial that aired 1/17 had the the GB stuff in the basement but it was for Russell Wilson, the bowls and stuff are in 3 because it will be Russell 3rd Super Bowl....

    7. @Sonny Are you still in on your Kaepernick to the Chiefs by week 2 as a starter over Mahomes?

    8. John to be honest this GB/Seattle game along with the Cardinals/Lions where 2 games I am not certain on. You can see that when I did all my picks back a couple months ago
So yeah I would like to see what else you got.

    9. Oh Yeah Tomas, any day you want to discuss NFL I am ready... You just ask the questions in the comments section. Personally I also want to concentrate on NFL and Champions League soccer now the next couple of months...

I also agree with you that GB/Seattle and Cardinals/Lions is not where we should bet the farm. Every NFL week I try to find my "A-Team" which is probably 2 or 3 matches that I trust more than the others, the "B-Team". I really want that Tampa Bay win down in Miami, as an example.

      Back to Green Bay:

If Seattle wins on Sunday, there is a calculation that I think favors Green Bay more than Seattle, that kind of breaks down. If so, I want to trace and understand why this is so? Then the numbers behind this calculation probably has a special meaning, probably for Seattle or another NFC team...

Green Bay has a Head-To-Head regular season history vs Seattle of 17 matches, GB won 10 and lost 7. This is of course the mark of both the previous and the next Super Bowl LI/LII-71/711. Green Bay has scored 445 points and Seattle 351, a total of 796 points. This is also Seattle franchise match #676.

There is duality in the numbers as for most part of the games. Here you could argue that the 445 points is the next Packers loss #554, but also the 351 could indicate that the same stats stay at 553. For now, I will lean on the following calculation:

I now have Green Bay winning the next 2, to get from franchise win 764 before the season, up to 765 before departure to Atlanta, and then up to 766 down in Atlanta on a 17.6 date (you see the match above). The coordinates for the new stadium down in Atlanta is 33.755 degrees North. You see the 33 and 55, and also a 75-73: If Green Bay wins on Sunday then their regular season loss stat stays on 553 and ditto franchise loss stat stays on 575. Also coach Carroll born on a 75 day will get handed his 73rd loss regular season, and coach McCarthy get his win #133.

(ps! I also think Carroll get his 42nd r.s.loss as a Seattle coach could be significant..)

This is Green Bay after all, the franchise that is recorded with 37 ties. Starting the season with their match #1377, 730 wins, and hopefully will fight for their playoff win 37 later (34 today). And this season they have already started marketing PERFECTION early: Perfect=73. Moscow = 55 degrees North and 37 degrees East.

No, I dare not bet on Seattle Sunday come...

    10. Examples of the treacherous nature of the numbers, or my "headache" codes:

Pete Carroll 360 days from his previous birthday. Is that for Seahawks loss 319 on a 36 day, or is it for Carrols 80th total hawks win, stay at 46 losses, to match the 8640 hours in the 360 days?

Or is this deeper? 864, if William Belichick wins SB48 it's his 8th final and 6-4 for New England, the franchise that Carroll coached 48 regular season games (3 years). Carroll also had 16 games as head-coach at Jets, and I think Belichick was 1 day HC at Jets before he left for New England (48(1)16).

Carroll born 24102 days before this game, and he could lose 42nd at Seahawks, or is it actually for New England to win #102 at Foxborough (3 days) and stay at 402 franchise losses?

  5. We see Cam Newton's little brother in the news now for being Quarterback of the largest point spread comeback in history. (45 points). This past Saturday, Week 1 of College.

Could be foreshadowing Cam Newton taking that Week 1 dive.
